FRIDGE, FREEZER & REFRIGERATION REMOVAL & WEEE RECYCLING IN STREATHAM

In urban core residential areas, minimum-load uplift starts at £50 for a small amount of rubbish or one bulky item. A half-load is £220 (approx 500kg, most common tier) and a full-van load £370. Add-ons include WEEE fridge-freezer uplift £30, mattress per-unit £20, and dismantle for large furniture included where noted on the quote.

No, our crews handle permit management on all urban core bookings. Where CPZ (controlled parking zones) apply, we book a bay suspension via the borough portal and include the cost only when unavoidable. Wait-and-load service can use standard kerbspace on more than 80% of urban core streets without any permit.

General domestic rubbish bags, single bulky items, garden bags, and dismantled flat-pack furniture can be left kerbside in urban core. Fridges, freezers, air-conditioning units and gas cylinders require pre-booking as WEEE/hazardous uplift. Hazardous waste including asbestos, paints, chemicals and oils must be declared on booking for specialist diversion.

Central urban core crews hold 45–90 minute ETAs for same-day wait-and-load orders placed before 2pm. Residential and business standard bookings offer a 2-hour arrival window, booked up to 4 weeks in advance.

Yes — every job in urban core receives a digital Duty of Care Waste Transfer Note with: company registration 16629394, Upper-Tier carrier CBDU605793, vehicle reg, crew IDs, description and estimated weight, transfer station destination, and signed acceptance. This is emailed within 24h of uplift, stored for 7 years per UK regulations.

All urban core waste is delivered to Environment Agency-licensed transfer stations within Greater London, sorted for material recovery, composting (green streams) or energy-from-waste for residual non-recyclables. Central streams target ≥90% diversion from landfill; outer routes ≥85%. Each load has weighbridge-verified weight and audit trail.
